Alternative Wedding: October 2015

Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy's wedding is one of the most lavish wedding in the year. Widely reported in the news,their wedding was overflowing with luxury and extravagance. For a start, Angelababy wore a Dior custom couture gown for the wedding day, made of early 115 feet of satin organza, 170 feet of tulle crafted into seven skirt layers, and a 10-foot-long train. Nearly a hundred flower bouquets of Chantilly lace were cut and stitched by hand on the fabric. Each rose is composed of seven layers of muslin, colored pink using an airbrush (source:yahoo). For this painstaking bespoke craft, a wooden body foam made matching the bride's measurement was constructed, to ensure the perfect fit. (source:glamour). Legendary French Jewellery house Chaumet provided exquisite bridal Jewellery from their archives - which included the Chaumet Curvilinear Tiara made from white gold, diamonds and baroque pearls in the Empire style , Chaumet Curls Tiara in platinum and an antique collar necklace with an intricate lattice pattern laid out in diamonds.
